Day of the Dead 2025 NOV-1

Since the Lake Patzcuaro area has pre Columbian roots for the celebration, my tour is still going to witness this ritual in a different time of day, to small villages like Tzintzuntzan & Santa Fe where we can skip the crowds.

I start my tour in Patzcuaro (Departs from Morelia available) going to small towns to meet the indigenous culture and participate of the “offering” to the dead souls.

My tour starts in Patzcuaro visiting smaller towns around the Lake, to welcome the dead souls! This is a guided Tour to visit cemeteries & homes where local families set up the “offering” to the dead souls in Michoacan. Pátzcuaro area is one of the best locations to watch this celebration when families can be found gathering at the graveyards with candles, food, music, flowers, bread, cookies, candy, toys, pets, etc., in order to stay there overnight!
